The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) Method is based on a set of fundamental beliefs about leadership and organisations. People naturally want to contribute, be part of something bigger and take ownership of ideas. All too often, leaders leave knowledge untapped in their teams but allowing each team member to contribute and speak out results in a more sustainable business.
The purpose of LSP is to change “lean backwards meetings” into “lean forward meetings” resulting in more participation, more insights surfaced, more engagement and, ultimately, more commitment and faster implementations.
LSP is a facilitated thinking, communication and problem solving technique for use with organisations, teams and individuals. It draws on extensive research from the fields of business, organisational development, psychology and learning, and is based on the concept of “hand knowledge.”

Lindsay is an accredited LSP Facilitator, trained by Robert Rasmussen, author of the only official LSP handbook "Building a Better Business Using the Lego Serious Play Method". Robert Rasmussen worked for the LEGO Group from 1988 to 2001 as head of R&D for LEGO Education. From 2001 to 2004 he managed Executive Discovery Ltd. which developed and launched the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY program.
As the main architect of the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY method, after several years and more than 20 iterations he and his team developed the concept into the reproducible and robust methodology it is today. Robert has worked with LEGO SERIOUS PLAY since its very beginning in 1999.
Lindsay has delivered LSP workshops to Strathpeffer Community Council, Impact Hub, HISEZ, Women in the Highlands, Bristol Old Vic, The Touring Network and at YOYP 2018 events.
